freedom - or the lack of it..

ok check this out just watched a documentry on the tiananmen square protests..
 and yah - how western technology is now sold to the chinese goverment to opress the people there.

yahoo - google - cisco systems - all sell technology that allows the chinese goverment to track down anybody who says a single thing about them..
just look for yourself..goto google - do an image search for tianamen square - u will find pages and pages of pics - 13,800 images

mostly of the man standing infront of the tank.. which was taken by western journalists and hidden in a toliet
- cause the secret police broke into the hotel and took all the cameras

remember how famous this is - in eastern europe people saw this and thought - if one man can stand up to a tank - so can we..

in our image saturated times i think it can be easy to forget just HOW powerfull one image can be..

then goto chinese google http://www.google.cn/ type tiananmen square into the box then press the second button...the one that is normally the image search
 - press the search button at the right of the box..and look at what u get
2 pages - with 20 images - a few smiling tourists and happy chinese walkin around takin snaps..maps... a few buildings
no tanks - no slaughtering of civillians - no protests - nothing AT ALL

not only are western companies selling out our own people by relocating to china and other places with appaling human rights
- shocking working conditions and slave wages

we're also helping them to censor and control their own people
